Exway Flex Series Overview
The Exway Flex Series is Exway’s flagship street board family, built on a bamboo-maple-fiberglass composite deck that absorbs road vibration through controlled flex. Available in six configurations from the accessible Flex Hub through to the performance Flex Pro Belt, covering a wide range of budgets and capability levels on the same core platform.

The Flexible Deck Advantage
The Flex deck’s bamboo-maple-fiberglass composite construction is tuned for flex rather than rigidity. Calculated fiberglass layer placement around a bamboo core creates a flex profile that absorbs road vibration through deck compliance before it reaches the rider’s feet. On extended urban commutes over imperfect surfaces, this meaningfully reduces rider fatigue compared to stiffer alternatives. Vibration-damping grip tape, shock-absorbing risers, and high-rebound urethane wheels compound the comfort advantage.
Hub Drive vs Belt Drive
Hub drive Flex models are quieter with more natural free-rolling. Belt drive models deliver more torque and better hill climbing at up to 40 percent grades. The Flex SE uses larger 100mm wheels for improved comfort on rougher urban surfaces. For most urban commuters, the base Flex Hub or Belt provides excellent value. For longer distances, the ER series 345Wh battery provides meaningful extra range. For maximum performance, the Flex Pro Belt delivers 2520W and 50 km/h.
Exway App
All Flex Series boards connect to the Exway app for adjustment of acceleration curves, braking strength, and ride modes. The Flex Pro uses the ExSkate app with additional features. App configuration allows new riders to reduce maximum speed during the learning phase, then increase progressively as confidence builds.
Safety
Always wear a certified helmet. At Flex Pro Belt speeds, full protective gear including wrist guards, knee pads, and a protective jacket is strongly recommended. Use the app to limit speed during the learning phase.
