About us

We help people choose an electric bike without the guesswork.

Electric Bikes Paradise is an independent guide to e-bikes. We write plain-English buying advice and Amazon-focused shortlists so you can spend less time decoding spec sheets and more time riding.

Why this site exists

Shopping for an electric bike is unusually hard. Listings shout about peak wattage and “up to” range figures, two bikes with identical specs can ride completely differently, and the prices move week to week. Most people just want to know one thing: will this bike work for the trips I actually take?

That is the question we try to answer. Every guide on this site starts from the ride — the commute, the school run, the grocery trip, the weekend path — and works backwards to the specs that matter for it.

What we publish

  • Buying guides. How range, motors, batteries, brakes, and frame fit actually behave in daily use, and which numbers are worth caring about.
  • Amazon picks. Short, opinionated lists of Amazon-listed e-bikes chosen for specific jobs, with the tradeoffs stated plainly.
  • Practical explainers. Battery care, safety certifications, accessories, and the maintenance that keeps a bike worth owning after year one.

How we stay honest

We are reader-supported and earn affiliate commissions, so it matters that our incentives are visible. Three commitments:

  • Commissions never buy a recommendation. A bike earns its place on merit, or it does not appear.
  • We do not publish prices. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and change constantly. Quoting them would make our pages stale and mislead you.
  • We say when we are unsure. If a claim comes from a manufacturer rather than our own assessment, we label it that way.

The details are in our selection process and our affiliate disclosure.

A note on what we are not

We are not a bike shop, a dealer, or a testing lab, and we do not sell bikes ourselves. We are a small editorial site. For fit, service, warranty claims, and test rides, a local bike shop will always beat a website — including this one.
